Hamilton wants covid cash for raft of projects

HAMILTON is going after a $1.5 billion share of the Government’s covid-19 recovery package with a suite of environmental projects.
Infrastructure minister Shane Jones and economic development minister Phil Twyford announced last week the Government would be pouring money into infrastructure projects as soon as the pandemic restrictions are lifted in a bid to avoid widespread unemployment.
