Wind turbines might fit the bill for new projects

NEW WIND turbines are among the projects the Government’s Infrastructure Industry Reference Group is looking for to help to boost employment in the wake of the covid-19 pandemic.
Chair Mark Binns – a former chief executive of both Meridian Energy and Fletcher Building’s infrastructure division – says he expects the group will be flooded with applications for “horizontal” projects, but “vertical” projects might be harder to find.
