ETS reform still a top job, says minister

REFORMING the Emissions Trading Scheme remains a priority for the Government, despite disruption caused by the covid-19 pandemic, says climate minister James Shaw.
Spot NZUs were down $6 last week as the country went into a state of emergency in response to the virus threat, with buyers and sellers uncertain the Government would push ahead with plans to lift the fixed-price option to $35 this year.
