PARLIAMENT is being told by some unlikely bedfellows that councils should have to consider greenhouse gas emissions when granting resource consents.
Green MP Gareth Hughes and former National and Act leader Dr Don Brash are both calling for the rules to change so councils can respond to the “climate crisis”.
