NZ might have to take Pacific climate-change refugees

New Zealand might have to open its doors and pockets to Pacific Islands peoples forced to leave their homelands because of climate change, a senior NGO official is warning.
With the inhabitants of one island group already suffering forced relocation, Oxfam New Zealand director Barry Coates says that New Zealand might have to compensate affected people and loosen immigration rules to allow them to settle here.
