Emissions spotlight on land use and transport

THE COMMITTEE of experts advising the Government on emissions budgeting has its sights set on our two biggest climate-polluting sectors – land use and transport.
The Interim Climate Change Committee, a forerunner to the Climate Change Commission expected to be established when the Government’s zero-carbon bill is passed, is calling for public submissions on ways of reducing emissions.
