Major polluter plans to cut emissions

Ravensdown has set emissions targets

 

A NEW ZEALAND company whose products are responsible for more than a million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions a year says it is setting emissions reduction targets in line with the Paris Agreement.

Fertiliser co-operative Ravensdown says it will cut indirect emissions – by far the largest portion of the company’s carbon footprint – by nearly 200,000 tonnes a year by 2030.
