THE RESERVE BANK says it might have to step in and regulate if companies fail to deal with climate risks.
Consultation has just opened on the second part of a review of the Reserve Bank Act, which includes the way in which the bank should monitor and manage the risk that climate change poses to the country’s financial stability.
