THE CAP on carbon prices should be lifted, the Government has been told.
An analysis of submissions on the latest review of the Emissions Trading Scheme shows a majority of submitters support raising the current $25 fixed-price option, which allows emitters to pay $25 for each tonne of liable emissions instead of surrendering carbon units.
