No CGT, but green taxes still on the agenda

A CAPITAL GAINS tax might be off the agenda, but the Government isn’t ruling out environmental taxes recommended by the Tax Working Group.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced that a capital gains tax, recommended by the Tax Working Group led by former finance minister Sir Michael Cullen, would not be introduced under her leadership.
