PARTS OF Australia’s climate change-impacted forests might never be the same again, scientists say.
Hounded in the past decade by increasing frequencies of drought, heatwaves, insect pests, disease and fire, trees are often more dead than alive with their regrowth vulnerable to further climate impacts, according to Murdoch University researchers.
