All farming gases must be cut, scientists say

CUTTING METHANE and nitrous oxide emissions from farming are critical to keeping the world to no more than 1.5deg of warming, scientists say in new research.
Biological emissions from agriculture make up nearly half New Zealand’s total greenhouse gas emissions, and there is disagreement over the extent to which they should be cut.
