ETS changes could see price cap lifted

The next round of changes to the Emissions Trading Scheme to be announced later today could see the $25 price cap lifted.
The price of spot NZUs has hovered round $25 all year, and it is believed that many emitters have been paying the fee and banking units against expected price rises.
