NEW REPORTS on drought and sea-level rise highlight New Zealand’s lack of preparation for the impacts of climate change.
In the first, Motu Economic and Public Policy Research warns of possible shortages of drinking water and increased waterborne diseases, as well as a shortage of water for agriculture, electricity generation and industrial use.
