US soldiers in Iraq ... told to fight 'green'.
As if they didn’t have enough on their hands fighting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, American soldiers are now being told they must reduce their carbon bootprint to ease the pain of climate change.
From forward areas in the Middle East to training ranges in the United States, the army has been working to limit its use of fossil fuels and make its operations more environmentally sustainable.
