PM ticks off leaders over Paris pact inaction

PRIME MINISTER Jacinda Ardern has told world leaders they will have to compromise their country’s positions if the Paris Agreement is to come into force.
“It is up to leaders - right now - to direct negotiators to move off extreme positions, to genuinely seek paths of convergence and to provide reassurance in the face of real anxieties,” she told a United Nations event in New York overnight.
