Foresters happy, farmers wary of carbon path

Recommendations for what is being called the biggest land-use change in New Zealand’s history are pleasing foresters but not farmers.
In a report released yesterday, the Productivity Commissions calls for major land-use change and a price on agricultural greenhouse gas emissions as part of a plan to decarbonise the economy.
