Lift carbon cap to $30 immediately, says broker

The Government is being told to take the brakes off the carbon market and immediately lift the maximum price to $30 a tonne.
Yesterday, the price of spot NZUs trading on the CommTrade platform jumped from $23.10 to $23.85 – the highest they have been in the decade the Emissions Trading Scheme has been in force.
