Poll shows majority ready to act on emissions

TWO-THIRDS of New Zealanders are prepared to take action to cut greenhouse gas emissions – although half might require some level of personal interest to take action, a new poll suggests.
The findings come as the huge number of people registering to hear climate minister James Shaw talk about the Zero Carbon Bill in Wellington tomorrow forces the Government to look for a bigger venue.
