The Government might increase New Zealand’s 2030 emissions reduction target.
New Zealand is among 23 countries to sign the Declaration for Ambition on Climate Change, saying that before 2020 they will look at stepping up their 2030 targets under the Paris Agreement to “lead from the front in galvanising global political momentum for others to do the same”.
