Govt hears of value in overseas carbon credits

ACCESS TO international carbon credits could lower the cost of decarbonising the economy, the Government has been told.
Economic modelling commissioned as part of the Government’s current public consultation for the Zero Carbon Bill shows that the cost of using domestic reductions alone could be as high as $845 a tonne.
