ICCC to probe impact of oil and gas exploration

The Interim Climate Change Committee will investigate the impact of further oil and gas exploration on New Zealand’s emissions reduction targets.
The information is contained in documents released by the Government yesterday, and comes as the world is warned that it could be plunged into financial crisis from the so-called Carbon Bubble – the stranded assets of fossil-fuel companies.
