World won't buy ETS dream, top economist tells Aussies

Australians are being told by one of the world’s leading economists that the world will never support an emissions trading regime.
The warning, from Professor Jeffrey Sachs, economic adviser to United Nations secretary-general Ban Ki-Moon, comes as the Australian Government prepares to release a green discussion paper on the shape of that country’s emissions trading scheme.
