LOCAL AUTHORITIES face at least $4 billion worth of infrastructure damage if sea-levels rise 1.5 metres, Local Government New Zealand is warning.
Rises of at least one metre are likely by the end of the century if global greenhouse gas emissions are not severely slashed.
