NEW ZEALAND'S resource management regime is to be overhauled – and it could mean the climate ramifications of projects are again taken into account.
Under a 2004 amendment to the Resource Management Act, authorities are not allowed to consider the greenhouse gas emissions of projects for which they are charged with granting consent.
