Auckland City eyes green bonds issue

AUCKLAND COUNCIL could issue green bonds to cover the cost of cutting emissions and adapting to climate change.
The city says it wants to be the first council in New Zealand to establish a green bond framework, inviting environmentally aware investors to put their money into projects that help to protect against the impacts of climate change.
