Carbon market corrects after stellar run

Carbon fell across-the-board today on profit-taking. After making solid gains early on the back of a strong oil market and firm German electricity prices, carbon turned lower late in the day as traders took some profits off the table.
It’s not surprising to see a correction in the market, given the stellar run carbon has had over the last few weeks especially in the back vintages.
