LPG – the cleaner, cheaper fuel of choice

With petrol and diesel prices hurtling well past $2 a litre, LPG is re-emerging as the clean, cost-effective alternative fuel of choice, according to Contact Energy subsidiary, Rockgas.
“At the current pump price of $1.35 a litre , LPG is still well below the $2 a litre barrier which both petrol and diesel (including road user charges) have broken through recently,” said Ruory Fairbrother, the service station manager for national LPG supplier, Rockgas.
