E-vehicle policy lacking, say transport officials

A SECOND government department has said New Zealand’s current electric vehicle policy won’t get people out of fossil fuel-driven cars.
Transport minister Simon Bridges launched the National Government’s electric vehicle policy in May last year, saying it would remove the barriers that prevent businesses and households from switching to EVs.
