Government cripples cities' climate campaigns

NEW ZEALAND's two largest cities are failing to cut greenhouse gas emissions because of the Government’s lack of action on climate change, new research shows.

A paper published in the Australasian Journal of Environmental Management says there is a big gap between what the Auckland and Wellington councils say they will do and what they are actually doing.
