ANOTHER Auckland University student has turned what might have been the biggest moment of her life to date – graduation – into a protest against the university’s investment in fossil fuels.
Erica Finnie, who received a Bachelor of Science with honours degrees yesterday in geography and environmental science, held up a large banner saying “Stop Funding Coal, Oil, Gas” as she crossed the stage to receive her degree.
