PROPOSALS for a carbon-neutral New Zealand will go before Parliament this week, as the nation's youth start to apply political pressure over the world they will inherit.
The announcement that the House will hold a special debate on the Vivid Economics report on emissions reductions comes as youth climate group Generation Zero launches a Zero Carbon Act plan and calls for cross-party commitment that New Zealand will be carbon-neutral by 2050.
