Oil pushes carbon higher

An initial spike in oil pushed carbon prices higher, though trading was light and recent firmer prices have pushed some carbon buyers, such as power generators, to the sidelines waiting for weakness in the carbon price, OM Financial reports.
Other than oil, there was very little driving carbon today. Afternoon weakness in oil caused the carbon price to come off its highs for the day.
