The captains of ships plying the world’s sea lanes are about to be given the message – slow down and save greenhouse gas emissions.
Speed limits in the world's shipping lanes will be proposed today by Britain’s Transport Secretary Ruth Kelly when she announces plans to regulate greenhouse gas emissions, the Observer reports.
