Greentick spends entire marketing budget on legal action to protect trademark

New Zealand-owned international eco-label company Greentick is on the offensive over false use of its trademark green tick, saying it has diverted its entire marketing budget to the legal department.
Greentick owner and sustainability scientist Susan Harris told Caron News that the company is currently prosecuting the 13th case of bogus use of the Greentick label, and warns that some producers are trying to appeal to eco-conscious consumers by making claims that mount to little more than “green fluffies”.
