Restaurant menu labels could help fight climate change: new research

If people had more information about the carbon footprint generated by the food they eat, would they make different decisions when ordering in restaurants?

About a third of all man-made greenhouse gas emissions are produced by the global food system—and some restaurants have begun taking steps to mitigate their  by providing customers with information about the emissions associated with specific items.
