US return boosts chances of COP26 success

THE UNITED STATES' return to the Paris Agreement is vital to the next round of negotiations, says former New Zealand climate ambassador Dr Adrian Macey.

Countries are expected to increase their emissions reduction targets when they meet at the rescheduled COP26 talks in Glasgow in November.
