Low-carbon cement the key, says GBC

NEW ZEALAND'S only cement producer is calling on local and central authorities to help it persuade the construction sector to accept lower-emissions cement.

The Government says it plans to slash emissions associated with the construction of buildings, using measures that will include changes to the Building Act and the Building Code.
