Warming weather will affect tank water

 

RURAL communities relying on rain on their roofs for water could be at more risk of disease as the climate warms, new research shows.

A project analysing water supplies in three Far North communities says that levels of Escherichia coli are likely to rise as the climate warms, increasing the risk of disease from pathogens like Campylobacter.
