Government stalls as carbon price hits high

RECORD CARBON prices have failed to convince the Government that the price cap should be lifted immediately.

Carbon prices hit a new high yesterday, with spot NZUs closing at $25.85 in anticipation of last night’s announcement of changes to the Emissions Trading Scheme.
