THE REFUSAL by TVNZ to include The Opportunities Party in televised election debates does the public a disservice.
The State-owned broadcaster says it is because the party, founded by economist and philanthropist Gareth Morgan last year, does not meet its criteria for inclusion – recording 3 per cent support in polls or with an MP in the current Parliament.
