A NEW ZEALAND doctor told world leaders gathering in Marrakech that human rights must be protected as the world takes action on climate change.

Dr Rhys Jones, co-convenor of OraTaiao: The New Zealand Climate And Health Council, says it is especially important to protect indigenous and children’s rights, and the right to health.
