AN NZU price of $50 is all that’s needed to deliver net-zero emissions by 2050, according to the NZ Initiative.
In its submission in response to the Climate Change Commission’s draft report, the Initiative - a think tank with a membership that includes most of the country’s largest businesses - said the commission’s recommendations would end up costing five times more than relying on the ETS alone.
