Maori land owners back biological farming

THE OWNERS of a million hectares of Maori land are turning their backs on “conventional” agriculture and adopting regenerative practices.

The Federation of Maori Authorities announced the move yesterday, saying biological farming is in keeping with traditional practices and philosophy and makes good business sense.
