Gas emissions levels up by 20%, says UN

The world’s concentration of warming gases like carbon dioxide has increased by 20 per cent since 2000, a new United Nations report says.

The Emissions Gap Report, coordinated by the UN Environment Programme and the European Climate Foundation, also shows that greenhouse gas emissions levels are now around 14 per cent above where they need to be in 2020.
