Boost regional bio-industry, says report

Fostering industries such as biofuels from woody biomass and investing in technologies such as smart grids could give New Zealandís regional economies a real boost, says one of the authors of a new report on green growth.

But, she says, policies should be put in place now to shift the economy on to an environmentally sustainable basis.
