New lows for European carbon

European carbon allowances fell further early this week following the release from the European Commission on its proposed changes to the EU ETS on the 25th July, Westpac reports.
Both CERs and ERUs for Dec 12 hit new record lows at EUR 2.60 and EUR 2.30 respectively, falling around 10 per cent from Friday's levels.
