New low for NZUs, despite surrender date

The much-talked-about final surrender date of May 31 came and went with little fanfare within the local market, Westpac says.
The speculation about emitters rushing to market in the last minute did not eventuate, and overall activity during the week was muted, as the NZU price posted a new low of NZD5.90.
