Wine maker chases green award

Villa Maria Estate has been selected by the New Zealand Ministry for the Environment as a finalist in the 2012 Green Ribbon Awards, recognising its outstanding contributions to protecting New Zealand's environment.
The 100 per cent New Zealand and family-owned wine business has been shortlisted as one of three companies in the Large Business Leadership category which recognises large organisations who demonstrate an on-going commitment to environmental best practices.
