Interest in the Permanent Forest Sink Initiative is picking up again in the wake of indications that it will not be scrapped.
The Government is considering wiping the scheme, which issues Kyoto AAUs for post-2008 sequestration of carbon, in the wake of the implementation of the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme.
